Windows Mobile 8 Limitations

Problem Statement:

                Many a times we have requirement that when user click on any link they should be able to view the next page on a new browser window/tab

Problem Object:

                Windows Mobile OS 8.0 or 8.1

Analysis:

                We tried all java script option to open a link targeted page to a new window or tab however none of the code seems to be working. Being a device/OS specific issue we went in details and found that this is an OS level issue or feature. Below statement also support our analysis 

Solution:

                This issue can’t be fixed via code. Microsoft has to enable this feature for Mobile Phone OS as well similar to desktop version.
